第72回バルク成長分科会研究会開催のお知らせ

Peter Rudolph教授講演会

  このたび、Peter Rudolph教授（Institute of Crystal Growth in Berlin, Germany ）をお迎えして、「Fundamentals of Crystal Growth」と題して第72回バルク成長分科会研究会を開催いたします。初日にはRudolph教授を囲んで、懇親会を行う予定です。日本とドイツの結晶成長研究の交流を深める機会にしたいと思いますので、多くの皆様のご出席をお願いしたく、ご案内申し上げます。

＜講演内容＞
 The development of new crystalline materials for the high-tec branches, like micro- and optoelectronics, photovoltaics, communication, laser applications, sensoring, nanodevices, biotechnology, protein production etc., requires the fundamental knowledge on phase transition, crystal growth processes and defect formation dynamics. The lectures will introduce in the three basic fields of crystallization - thermodynamics, kinetics and transport processes - and will also give an survey of the defect natures and engineering in solid states. Additionally the structure of melts and technological developments of bulk crystal growth will be discussed.
 The lectures are structured in a tutorial manner with free discussions. Lecture scripts will be delivered to all participants.
